LilyGO T-Display-S3-AMOLED 1.91" (bar-shaped) specifications

The LilyGO T-Display-S3-AMOLED 1.91" (bar-shaped) is a 1.91" 240×536 display board by LilyGO, built around the ESP32-S3 (ESP32-S3R8 module) running at 240 MHz. The panel uses a AMOLED (QSPI, RM67162 or similar) controller over QSPI, without a touchscreen. Memory: 16 MB flash, 8 MB PSRAM; wireless: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. In LCD Ultra Pro you can design its UI visually at the exact resolution; a ready-made display driver for the Arduino export is not available yet, so the export contains the LVGL UI code for your own project.

Frequently asked questions

What is the resolution of the LilyGO T-Display-S3-AMOLED 1.91" (bar-shaped)?

240×536 pixels on a 1.91" screen, driven at 16-bit colour depth.

Which display controller and interface does it use?

AMOLED (QSPI, RM67162 or similar) over QSPI.

Does the LilyGO T-Display-S3-AMOLED 1.91" (bar-shaped) have a touchscreen?

No. 2 physical button(s) instead

Which ESP32 chip and how much memory does it have?

ESP32-S3 (ESP32-S3R8) at 240 MHz, 16 MB flash, 8 MB PSRAM.

Which GPIOs are free for my own sensors or relays?

14 GPIOs are free: GPIO 1, GPIO 2, GPIO 3, GPIO 10, GPIO 11, GPIO 12, GPIO 13, GPIO 14, GPIO 15, GPIO 16, GPIO 19, GPIO 20, GPIO 43/TX, GPIO 44/RX.

Can I use LVGL on the LilyGO T-Display-S3-AMOLED 1.91" (bar-shaped)?

Yes, with your own display driver setup. In LCD Ultra Pro you can design the UI at the board’s exact resolution and export the LVGL 8.4 UI and event code; a ready-made display driver for this board is not included yet, so you call ui_init() from your own LVGL project.
