Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LCD Ultra Pro ("Service"), operated by LCD Ultra Pro ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

LCD Ultra Pro is a browser-based visual UI designer for ESP32 display boards. The Service allows users to design LVGL 8.4 user interfaces, export C code, flash firmware, and preview designs on physical hardware via USB.

2. Account Registration

You must register for an account to use the Service. You agree to:

• •Maintain the security of your password
• •Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• •Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• •Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• •Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• •Use the Service to develop a competing product
• •Share your account credentials with others
• •Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• •Abuse, harass, or threaten other users or our team
• •Use automated scripts to access the Service in a way that burdens the infrastructure

4. Intellectual Property

Our IP: The Service, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by LCD Ultra Pro and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

Your Content: You retain full ownership of the UI projects you create using the Service. By using cloud save, you grant us a limited license to store and process your project data solely to provide the Service.

Generated Code: The LVGL C code generated by the Service is yours to use freely, including for commercial purposes, subject to the LVGL library's own MIT license. Exported files contain identifiers used for license protection.

Commercial Use After the Beta: Code you export during the open beta keeps the commercial-use rights granted above, permanently, regardless of any future change to this policy. After the beta ends, commercial use of newly generated code may be limited to paid plans — any such change will apply only to code exported after that change takes effect, never retroactively.

5. Subscription & Payment

Paid plans are billed annually via Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing, you agree to:

• •Pay the applicable subscription fee in advance
• •Accept automatic renewal at the end of each subscription period unless canceled
• •Comply with Lemon Squeezy's payment terms and conditions

All prices are in EUR and include applicable taxes where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which includes a 14-day conditional refund on annual plans. As required by EU consumer law, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchase.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the period ends.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. We will provide notice where reasonably possible. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data 30 days after termination.

You may ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@lcdultrapro.com.

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates, and outages may occur. We are not liable for any losses resulting from downtime.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE, INCLUDING THE C CODE, DRIVER FILES AND ANY OTHER OUTPUT IT GENERATES, IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR ITS GENERATED OUTPUT WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LCD ULTRA PRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Hardware Disclaimer: We are not responsible for any damage, "bricking", data loss, or malfunction that may occur to your physical hardware (ESP32 devices, LCD panels, or connected peripherals) resulting from flashing firmware, using the USB Live feature, or any other use of the Service. You assume full responsibility for any hardware operations performed through the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Alicante, Spain.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
