Makerfabs MaTouch ESP32-S3 AMOLED AI Camera specifications
The MaTouch ESP32-S3 AMOLED AI Camera (SKU MA205AMCA) combines a 2.05-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a 3-megapixel camera on one ESP32-S3 board. The 368×448 panel is driven by a CO5300 over QSPI and reaches a 3000:1 contrast ratio — deep blacks and vivid colours that LCDs can't match.
Touch is handled by a CST820 controller, and the OV3660 camera supports automatic exposure and white balance. An ESP32-S3 with 16 MB of flash and 8 MB of PSRAM gives enough memory for camera frames and on-device AI models; Makerfabs' examples include digit recognition and cat-face detection.
Makerfabs positions it for embedded vision, monitoring and AI projects. With LCD Ultra Pro you can design the on-screen part — menus, results and status — while your own code handles the camera.

Good to know before you start
- The LCD Ultra Pro driver for this board is compile-tested, not yet hardware-verified.
- AMOLED brightness is dimmed with a software layer in LCD Ultra Pro on this board.
- Only GPIO 15 and 16 (plus UART0) are free — the camera and display use the rest.
- Camera frames need PSRAM; keep the UI light while streaming.
What it is good for
- •On-device AI vision demos
- •Meter and digit reading
- •Camera-based monitoring with a local display
- •High-contrast status screens
